CBD BENEFITS FOR ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
Today, many of us struggle with anxiety and depression. This has become a prevalent part of society and along with it comes the use of many pharmaceutical drugs. Many of these drugs do unfortunately cause side effects such as insomnia, apathy, sexual dysfunction, agitation, etc.
Fortunately, the research that has been done so far on the use of CBD for depression and anxiety is promising! “In one Brazilian study, 57 men received either oral CBD or a placebo 90 minutes before they underwent a simulated public speaking test. The researchers found that a 300-mg dose of CBD was the most effective at significantly reducing anxiety during the test”. (1)
There is also promising research showing CBD safely treating insomnia and anxiety in children with PTSD (2).
We also see anti-depressant effects in many animal studies (3) & (4).
